I've been following Ashley Baxter on Twitter and reading her blog for a while now, and I'm a big fan of her work. Somehow her photography manages to take simple, everyday events and settings and turn them into genuine works of art.
So, when Ashley reached out to me to let me know she was trying a new venture I was more than happy to help her promote it here. The idea is simple. For £39 (approx. $58) you can enroll in a beginner's camera course that is taught via email over the course of a month.
During the month of May you'll receive an email about once every four days that will run the gambit from tutorials to assignments. The goal of each email is not just to teach you how to use your camera, but to get you using it more and build your confidence with it.
Lastly, you'll also gain access to a members-only Flickr group where you can share your images and receive feedback on them from Ashley herself. It sounds like an excellent program and if you're a beginner I think it's definitely worth checking out.
