Good morning! Richard is off in Boston this week seeing the sights, chowing down on the chowda, and imbibing the beer, so he left me COMPLETELY in charge of this week's newsletter.
My latest photography endeavor here in Central New York was to make my family's Christmas card photograph. This year's session was immeasurably easier due to a feature my new D7100 has that my D3100 did not: a built in intervalometer. I was able to frame up my shot using my tripod and key in 60 photos to be taken automatically 1 second apart, during which the family and I could try a bunch of different poses and smiles. It worked REALLY well and we got some great shots. If you're ever setting up group shots that you want to be in I highly recommend this approach.
